We have used this for several months and it works well. I was looking for something like this to cut car registrations, proof of insurance etc.  I had been using a ruler and razor, then saw this.  It is awesome! I love the ease of use, the steadiness, it being so light weight, and easy to store.  Highly recommend!.

The shredder is perfect for my home office requirements.  More secure than a simple strip shredder, simple to operate as well as empty.  This one is much quieter & is easy to use.

It can shred your old expired credit cards without showing any effort.  It is rated at a P-4 security level which mean each sheet is cut into about 400 little bits.  Good luck to anyone who wants to put that puzzle back together!  The waste drawer slides out and when full and a couple loads will fill a typical kitchen trash can bag when emptied. Unlike your typical home shedder that can usually do 3 or 4 sheets at a time and have a duty cycle of maybe 5 minutes before having to cool down, this shredder is an absolute workhorse!  It can handle 18 sheets at once with ease.   If you only need to shred an occasional statement, letter, or so, then by all means use one of those cheap home shredders.  But is you need to do some serious shredding then this is definitely a shredder for I would recommend.  It can shred CONTINUOSLY for an hour!!.  Unless you are buying a commercial grade one for $300 - $600 any of these shredders are going to emit noise.

As a student, I used this after arriving to shred some old assignments I printed up that are no longer needed and you are not able to see what it was-no chance of anyone cheating/using my work and I can treat the shredded information as I would when I get my job as a Paralegal.  This nicely supports our need to shred a bunch of things at once.

It works. People who say this is not noisy must have 10 kids playing in the house or a child who likes rock music played at 200 decibels or be hard of hearing! The only time I will use it in my condo is after 10AM because I would wake the dead at any other time!.

I place a bag in the bottom of the container so it makes it easy. I liked the 30 sheets per package so I can lub the cutting teeth more often.

A well-built and well-designed piece of equipment. Went through 4 bags of shredding material.  There are no touch sensors, which means less chance of breakage.  It looks great, and has a pull-out bin that fits inside of a body, rather than being a shredder head that sits on top of a bucket. I really like this shredder.

Better Than I Expected And Pretty Durable but a Little TOP HEAVY!!!. It cuts paper into little tiny pieces.
