I bought a second shredder because I will soon be destroying copious amounts of old, unneeded financial records and will likely have to lubricate more often. Noise level is lower than usual from other shredders.  Easy to use, cuts extremely well and value OK.

Definitely a work horse

I shredded two boxes of paper after I cleaned out my office.  I shredded about 8-10 sheets at a time for at least 30 minutes.  It had no issues.  It has kept the  Basic Shredder running for the past several years.

Beyond My Expectations

I recommend it.  It had no issues.  It was the most that I had ever paid for one so my expectations were high.  It has met my expectations and more.  My previous shredders were always noisy but this one is very quiet.  Also, I enjoy the bigger basket so I do not have to empty it as quickly.  It has been worth the money to this point. After reviewing multiple shredders, I selected this model.

However, it shreds 5 or more pieces of paper into small, thin paper strips in seconds. Very nice little shredder. It is very noisy when shredding papers, and the shedding part is heavy.

Keeps the sharpness of the Paper Shredder in good condition. The best one I have ever purchased - handles a lot of paper at a time, very efficient.

great home office shedder!

I like the size of this machine; I run four sheets through and it just keeps on going.  We use it daily and in the several years we have had it, the unit has never given us any trouble.

I love this shredder! It is really really quiet and the paper is almost sawdust in the end!!. It is a great shredder for the price, easy to clean and perfect for a small office.

Shredding is fun!

Unopened junk mail, no problem! It all comes out in itty-bitty pieces.  Wow!! It is a heavy little bugger, in a compact desktop size.  If you are on the fence about this just do it! You will not regret it.  It hums instead of that jarring, typical shredder sound.  It easily shredded anything I put into it including about three year's worth of old credit cards that my old machine could not handle. bought this one and boy does it shred for home - my wife burned out the little last one putting too much through for too long - she will not burn this one up and it also cuts to a higher security than a strip cutter,,,.  And so quiet I do not have to worry about bothering my neighbors like my old one did.
